Linda King is a Professor of Biblical Counseling at Lucent University and Professor of Psychology at North Central Texas College. She is a counselor, an educator, a co-author, and podcast co-host dedicated to emotional healing and personal growth. She holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Psychology, a Bachelor's in Forensic Psychology, and has years of experience in both academic and clinical settings. Her life’s work is committed to helping others become their best selves—through insight, encouragement, and intentional reflection. Whether she is teaching in the classroom, writing for readers, or speaking into the mic, her message remains the same: Words Matter! They shape our stories, soothe our wounds, and spark the courage to change. I created Words That Heal to offer a safe, uplifting space where people can explore their inner world, find daily encouragement, and reconnect with their strength.
